Always nice clean rooms, with a lovely shower, which was easy to get to a comfortable temperature (for a change). Premier Inns are a nice uncomplicated hotel chain, becoming more expensive now, but isn't everything?
Floor could have been hoovered a little better. Didn’t feel clean near the edges of the carpet. Soap dispenser very rusty and covered in old soap. Apart from that the room was fine. Food service was a little slow but staff friendly and helpful.

Good for a Christmas crash. I liked the poems in each room too.
We stayed here for an evening and breakfast. Onsite parking is available. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. The family room catered for our needs and the room was clean and tidy. The breakfast was to a good standard. There is a Beefeater opposite but there are also a few supermarkets and fast food stores within a few minutes drive. The hotel is just outside of Newport but it is possible to walk to the town centre.
Lovely lady on reception Kirsty, room was very clean and comfortable, only downfall to the premier is food at the Beefeater, which was dirty and staff were not very pleasant, really lets the Premier down, they need their own restaurant/cafe. Could benefit from a coffee machine in lobby area, and bottled water in rooms
I booked a room for family members, and they had a lovely stay. The team at this premier inn were brilliant, very helpful and really pleasant. The room its self looked old and tired, but it was very clean. They have a restaurant in the hotel, but it’s not open yet, so we booked breakfast in the pub opposite, which was very nice.
